Also make sure the water you're using doesn't have any chlorine in it. I didn't know that some tap water has chlorine when I first got my baby cham and he would keep his eyes closed and not eat.

Nice little dude! I like your enclosure too. I got my baby chameleon a 18x18x36 cage when he was only 1 month old and I think it was waaay too big, good job getting a smaller cage haha.

Hey everyone, my basking light for my 3-4 month old veiled broke the other day and I replaced it with a normal house bulb. The basking bulb was a 100w and the house bulb is a 95w incandescent, will that be alright or should I get a new basking bulb? I also have my light dome on the top angled...

Haha yeah he was kind of scared, he kept doing the leaf walk thing. I took him out for a half hour again today :D

How old is the cham and what kind?

Young Rog! Roger chillin on his plant. Is it alright for him to hang out on a bamboo plant? He never eats it or anything and I've been putting him on it for a half hour every day for the past week and he seems fine.

I'm not sure about the temp, but its not necessarily bad if they shed right when you get them. And yeah 1 loose cricket isn't that bad. I sometimes have like 5 or so loose crickets in with my 4 month old veiled but he's big enough to avoid them if he needs to.

I've been busy the past few days and I've only seen my dude chiling under his light and I was kind of concerned. I watched him today though and noticed that he usually eats, basks for an hour or so and then starts his cruising. It might just be that he's more active in the morning/afternoon...

Yeah give him a few more branches. I used to have only a few vines and my dude always seemed scared. I put more in and its always hard to find him but he seems happier that way haha.

It seemed like a million of them to me haha. Some escaped while getting them in the cricket keeper and my roomates stomped them so I lost some of them to that lol. There were also like 50 dead when they arrived. Theres like 4 toilet paper tubes and then the 3 black tubes in there where every...

Hahaha alright then. Yeah they're pretty small, theres room for them to spread out to some of the other tubes but they're all huddled in like 3-4 of them. And yeah theyre not just in piles climbing all over each other so I think theyll be fine. Just thought I should double check with the experts...

I have a 20 gallon tub I'm going to use but I need it to move tomorrow before I cut it apart and fill it with crickets lol. Should I put the crickets in it tonight or is it okay to keep them in the cricket keeper until tomorrow night?

Alright will do. Will they be okay for 1 day like that? I have to move tomorrow and I need my big tubs to move my stuff.
