    newbie questions

Dont under any circumstances use the aquarium, that will lead you down a road of problems you dont want. You are going to go through a couple cages if you go with a 3-4month old, chams grow very fast and will be almost full grown within a year. You can order a nice smaller cage from LLLreptile...

    Digging?

I dont think the coconut is dense enough, swap it out for some organic soil and sand.

    screen question

wire screen is the most logical. it keeps feeders in and they cant chew through it, but can cause your cham to lose nails. mesh is harder to find a good one, feeders can escape but its easier on your chams nails if your boy eats good out a cup and you dont mind the random escapee cricket then...

    Making my own

I decided to integrate my snake tank into the whole mix cuz i was tired of having this awesome cham enclosure and a random snake tank sitting next to it. I pretty much lucked out that it acutally fit but it was a real pain trying to take the tank out to feed, clean, ect. So i added some shelf...

    Mealworms or superworms?

i wouldnt make either worm a staple, make them a snack. these worms have a lot of fat and its not beneficial to fatten up your cham on snacks all the time. Ive said before and i'll say it again..."just remember mealworms to chams are like a cheeseburger to humans, may taste good but are filled...
