    Help

No, that is absolutely not normal. I have no idea why she would be doing that, but from the looks of the tail, she needs a vet visit asap.

I have both of my panther boys in my bedroom. Not sure which of us spends more time staring at the other. 🥰 Unfortunately I have Mango nearest the door, so every time I walk in and he sees me, he rushes over to his door, thinking he can come out. Makes me feel bad, so I often do oblige him.

    Ribs showing?

How many insects are you feeding to her and how often? She does look a bit thin to me - her casque is a bit concave along with being able to see her ribs so prominently and her spine. Mealworms aren’t good feeders except for maybe in a pinch. Attaching the feeder graphic along with the ‘gutload’...

Sweet Panther Developed Aiming Problem - Please help!

Hi. Nothing in your husbandry is really standing out to me except what you are feeding your bugs. Yellow and orange veggies are high in (proformed) vitamin A. This is the type of A which is water soluble and easily excreted and is the one which we are unsure if chameleons are able to utilize it...

Suggestions for achieving night time temp requirements?

I mist for 2 minutes each at around 8 AM and 7 PM, 1 minute at 2 PM and then 15 seconds around midnight and then 4 AM.

Suggestions for achieving night time temp requirements?

I’m in Florida and can’t get my temps below around 74 unless I want to go bankrupt. My electric bill is insanely high enough. I had tried a room ac but it just wasn’t enough. My solution is not to boost humidity at night except for a very slight amount. I run the Mist King for 15 seconds, twice...

has any one else herd of this.

I’ve heard of it being done in more southern Florida and find it totally irresponsible, amongst a few other negative things. It’s things like this that give reptile keeping and keepers a bad name and reputation. These poor animals are considered invasive here in Florida and like it or not, they...

How much longer does she have?

No idea how long she’ll be around. My girl has been with me for 6 years and is around 6 1/2…she’s sometimes showing little signs of slowing down, but then gets right back to her usual. What is going on with her back foot? That looks painful to me. Does she have gout? Has she been to a vet recently?

Is my chameleon sleeping or ill?

When it gets dark, chameleons go to sleep. They will wake up once it’s light, but it’s best to let them sleep thru the night for about 12 hours. It is best to feed early in the day, so they have plenty of time to bask and heat up enough to properly digest their food. Little ones like yours...

Is my chameleon sleeping or ill?

If it was fully dark, then she is sleeping. Not sure I understand what the concern is.

Is my chameleon sleeping or ill?

Hi. Unless the lights are off and the room is dark, baby is quite sick. Can you post some pics of her entire enclosure, including lights? What are you feeding her and how much? What supplements are you using and how often? Has she ever been tested for parasites?

    The dreaded gnats...

If those are mealybugs, Dawn isn’t enough to eliminate them. You’ll need to pull out rubbing alcohol and wipe down the plants or spray with it. Google says using Neem also is a treatment. Natural predators are a chemical free way to go, but may not be 100% effective. Lacewing larvae are what...

    New Veiled Chameleon mom..

Hi and welcome! I’d love to help you and your little nut. Let’s start with what you have already. Can you post some pics of her enclosure, including the lights? Of course, I’d love to see Pistachio too.
