I will upload Part#2 tomorrow of Dusk.
I know it’s a long video but you get the full experience of the transition of light in this video. Thank you for checking it out😎.
lol yeah we are Texas Ranger still on here. I may change the name. But we have had the same name since 2009 I think on here so I have been hesitant to change it ❤️. Let me see if I can add you as collaborated so you can share it to your main instagram post. Thank you so much for sharing...
Still trying to decide if I like this setting 100%. 15 min. Basking then uvb starts and 5 min. Later jungle dawn starts. I discussed this timing schedule with Frances Baines and it seem to be working well. But it’s only been a few days so we will see how my animals react.
Yeah these babies will turn out like there older brothers from last years paring. They will have some wild type blue to them because they are pure cb Ambanja’s . But they are not to be confused with the blue “Ambanja” that is a color morph.
All new Arcadia LumenIZE on our parsonii in dawn and dusk time lapse. Trying to offer the best care as possible to our animals. Watch till the end to experience the full dawn and dusk modes.😎
With them being a color morph technically there is no standard because a line has not been named and there look is so far removed outside the wild type look it could be a guessing game. That’s why we have been calling for them to be named without the locale attached to it pure or not because...
Yes let me know what they say. Because per there manufacturer and as a standard in testing bulbs its required. I don’t think it will just kill the bulb but there is a possibility of a shorter life span and I want my bulbs to last as long as possible
I do. Or are you talking to the original poster? I was thinking the same thing because he was mentioning his chameleon acting a little stressed and something with his eyes. I will have to go back a read.
My other recommendation I guess would be to use your existing uvb bulb if impatient on trying out the new fixture until you can burn in your new uvb bulb. Again just better safe then sorry. The readings coming from a fresh uvb can be way off or over powered the first day or two.
With it being a controlled radiation we are introducing into an enclosure. I would recommend everyone no matter the brand do a burn in and if able use a solor meter before putting the light on there reptiles. But I understand not all will have a solor meter so a burn in will at least let you...
Again I am just saying better safe then sorry. I have always burned in my uvb on a separate fixture so I can test the uvb before introducing it to my reptiles. I have had faulty bulbs from many manufacturers over the years so I test and pre burn everyone.
