Get rid of the infared bulb and then for the other bulb, try using a normal incandescent house light up to 60-70 watts.
The bulb you and they have been using to bask him may be causing eye troubles...
Also, make SURE to turn off all the lights at night.
Make sure to feed him as much as he...
It looks great!
One thing I would do is add another bendy vine (like the one up top) or even two more of them, just to make sure he can get around the whole cage.
Also buy large rocks (just large enough so a cham cant eat them) onto the soil of your plants.
Good luck! I think it looks...
I am glad there was actually a response. I didn't even call them, only emailed them.
They must have either gotten reported by someone else as well or had actually read my emails.
I will stop by soon to see if any changes have been made.
Yeah, I know what you mean how safe showers can be given. Monty sometimes looks dehydrated (he now drinks just fine) so I bring him in and gently shower him with warm water, bouncing off the wall like people say to do.
Perhaps they got a big water drop into the chameleon's airways? I remember...
Thank you both for responding
I am also very glad the AC may have had a word with the owner.
Currently she is on vacation though. The other day I stopped by (the same day the truck showed up) and a girl and her boyfriend were babysitting puppies and tending to the store and we had made...
A while ago I sent an email to the local animal control and police, discussing this

with them.
I was out a couple days ago and saw the animal control truck parked in front of that very pet store.
Just hoping they took me...
Sounds like you have a great diet for him already! Just give him the new worms as a treat. I believe they are pretty fatty so maybe feed them once a week as a treat because you already have such a good varied diet set up.
They may be too big, but you can usually order them online by size! So...
Paper towels are really only recommended as a temporary fix before you get a drainage system.
Drainage systems are an absolute must if you're misting your chameleon correctly :) If you use a mist king, aqua zamp, or other misting product, you'll need drainage.
Since there is no dirt...
They usually put the baby chameleon into a small cup with a paper towel in it, then put it in a paper bag :)
You may want to bring a ventilated but sturdy case to carry it out of the show, because they are delicate babies!
Be very careful when carrying him/her outside and make sure the bag...
I've heard about this little one on Facebook.
I have heard rumors that many in his clutch who were similarly colored had issues, but I don't know if that's true.
All I know is that I wish you good luck creating a new color in the cham business, and that he is gorgeous!
Hopefully later...
That's what it looks like..
Looks like they just used pretty much every stereotypical chameleon "fact" rather than avoiding the bad ones, lol.
I feel bad for whoever uses this as their care guide or full knowledge of chams.
The only thing I recommend is getting rid of the 100 watt for now. For a baby an 80 degree bask will be fine until he's older, then bring out the large light again.
Also, if you haven't, cover the dirt of the plants with large rocks if you have live plants.
Also, if your supplement...
I love going to the expos and seeing all the reptiles out. Some of the reptiles such as the geckos or frogs actually are just chilling around, no real issues, but the chams, you can see, which is sad, sometimes they are visibly stressed to the point of rubbing their nose raw on the tiny cage...
I'm so sorry that happened to you. Personally I wouldn't use exo terra for different reasons than that, but I think that you reminded a lot of people here of possible flaws in the equipment itself.
Again I'm terribly greatful and also terribly sorry for what you've had to go through, but...
