I found this 2 and 1/2 year old nosy be online and he is being sold for $300 with a roach colony, lights, cage, plants, and supplements. He looks good to me, do you think it is wort it? i was told he has had no health problems
I currently have a warm mist but i have seen people say that cool mist is much better, the humidifier does not run directly into the cage so the heat isn't the problem I have just heard that warm mist may cause respiratory problems.
So i currently have 1 panther chameleon that just turned 1 years old 2 days ago! and i was wondering how hard it is to take care of more than one chameleon, I don't plan to breed them i was thinking about getting another male. If i were to get another male could i even keep them in the same...
I had a thread on this yesterday. My panther dosnt hiss or anything but he turns dark and gets very scared and wont move. I'm trying to bring him outside just for a few minuets a day (when its warm) so he can get used to it, i dont want him to get too stressed out over it though
Whenever i bring Skittles my soon to be 1 year old male panther chameleon outside he turns dark and doesn't move around too much. When you first took you chameleon outside did he/she ever seem scared? I don't keep him out for too long and i make sure he has water and shade so he doesn't get too...
so a while back maybe 2 months ago i was worried that my panther chameleon Skittles could have had an RI infection so I too him to the vet and she said that he was healthy and dint see anything and since then I've had no worries and he has been perfect but just now this morning I heard almost...
So there was some crickets in my panthers cage that he must have not ate this morning and he just grabbed one now at 8:35pm while his lights are turned off. I turned the lights back on when i saw him chewing, should i keep the lights on for a bit longer? I know they are supposed to eat early so...
from what i have heard and seen carpet chameleons and very hard to take care of. I have a panther and it is my first cham and he is great, loves to come out of his cage and is very colorful. I would say to go for a panther but they are a bit more expensive than a veiled. check out the care...
so i had horn worms and they got too big for my chameleon to eat so i figured i would leave them alone and see what happened. well... I now have a huge moth flapping around in the little container and I'm not sure what to do with it. I have heard they don't live long but i don't know anythings...

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process in which water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that removes 90-99% of tap water impurities. The result is water that is free of minerals and other contaminants. Membrane type determines the amount of dissolved solids a unit is...
make sure you have good gut load/food and a water source. i keep mine in a cricket carrier that i got at a pet store and of course not all of the crickets are gonna survive but for me most stay alive. also for gut load i use flukers cricket food and cricket crack and for a water source i used...
I personally use RO water in my mister to reduce the chances of bacteria build up and it clogging but for my dripper i use tap water. I'm from Massachusetts and the water is fine. If you want to i think there are some water conditioners specifically for chameleons but I'm now 100% sure but you...
I think i have a pretty good plan thanks to some of the suggestions from this thread. I will stand the cage up on it's side so it is 6ft tall and cover 3 sides in hardware cloth and make sure nothing can get in and he can't get out. I will put a small door on the 2ft wide side and I think that...
i plan to turn it so its 6ft tall and i would only have him out while I'm there. I also plan to put a piece of pvc along the top with a few mister nozzles in it that i can attack the hose to so i can mist him. I think that doing 2 layers of hardware cloth would be a good idea too.also i would...
