    Won’t eat anything but crickets

Correct. If you only offer something else’s eventually they will break and eat. Have you tried flying bugs? They usually can’t resist flying critters. Just today, one of my males was kinda eating, but picky.. I grabbed a few house flys that were trapped in my house and he went for them very quickly.

Post a picture of the plug and the sticker on the power supply. I’ll see if I can search the eu web somehow to find one

    Mistking Lacking Power

May need a power adapter for the wall, but I think this would work. If you can get it over there. I found others before too, I’d have to look a little more . https://junglehobbies.com/2.0Amp-Replacement-Pump-Power-Adapter.html

    Mistking Lacking Power

yes you can. Look at the sticker, it’ll give you the amperage and all that. You can rake the info from the sticker and google it. I think online it was like $50 bucks or something for the power supply. Can’t remember. As long as it’s the right output, and connector, you should be fine.

    Mistking Lacking Power

I am betting it’s the power supply. I had a similar issue. Hooked it to a different power supply and fired right up. Oddly… my “bad one” started working again after about a week of leaving it off and hand misting. But I am pretty sure your power supply is the issue.

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Will do! Been a busy summer, and not much to share. Got a little bummed when I lost them both which has kept me a bit hesitant. But been talking to some friends in the hobby and I think I’m ready to grab a male , do some fecal tests and hopefully get a pairing. Thanks for all the support, Jeremy!

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

The CB female is doing quite well. She was only 4 grams when she arrived, and as of a week or so ago she’s up to 7. So she’s now 2 grams larger than the WC female I had. Trying to decide what to do from here. We had been discussing possibly moving back to Utah so I put an instant hold on...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Welp, project is officially on hold. The male was doing…. seemingly well until about the time the female died. He went down hill quickly and died last Friday…. I got a CB female shipped in that I’ve had since that same Friday. She’s only 3 grams so lots of growing to do. I’ll be raising her up...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Hey all. Bad news.. the female started going down hill quickly a couple weeks ago. She started roaming the bottom of the cage, and dug in the soil a bit, but never did finish digging or lay. She just couldn’t pick up weight either. I am not 100% sure what happened, but I ended up losing her...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Hello everyone. Close to 2 weeks in at this point, which I can’t even believe.. Female - doing quite well. She is feeding quite a bit but I have discovered an issue with her tongue. She is only able to shoot her tongue maybe an inch. This results in most times, she climbs into the feeder cup to...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Day 2 Grabbed some small crickets, not quite pinhead but probably 2 week or so. My local reptile shop carries good feeders and I purchase there. Nice to not have to deal with shipping! The female ate 8-9 crickets while I was gone for a few hours. This was positive to see. Still drinking and...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Ok I’m getting behind on updates.. Day one, 2/18 Female came in in great shape. Maybe a little skinny, but good other than that. She immediately started to drink when she got into the enclosure, looking desperate for water. She didn’t appear dehydrated, but she was definitely in need. I have a...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Man it would be awesome to have you jump onboard with a pair or two! I hope we can get some KCK traction like we did before. They are simply incredible. Thank you about the enclosure. Theirs a few things I’d do differently in the future, but overall it’s working great. It resides in my office...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

Working on a video to showcase them better.. but here is a sneak peek at the female, and a link to my Instagram to show the unpacking. Interesting behaviors so far, I’ll post tomorrow my first three days of observance. Link won’t work?? Anyone know what the deal? Fillini_chameleon is the...
