I ordered a screen cage from lllreptile and one of the locking mechanisms on it was broken. I just sent them an email and they replaced the whole door without an issue.

I would fix the uvb right away and also maybe move his enclosure somewhere with less foot traffic. If you can’t move it then try covering it with a towel.
Him moving about the enclosure could just mean he’s unhappy in it. It doesn’t mean he wants to come...

It’s always best to have all the correct supplies for a chameleon before you get him. Larger screen cage at least 18x18x36 and linear uvb lighting. If not the chameleon will have problems and you’ll have to rush to get these things later on , making your investment much more pricey. Good job...
