i know a week or so ago my big cage was just thrown together temporarily he would climb upside down under the uv for a couple mins than go wander around. i have now revamped it a few days ago with lots more branches foilage and everything hasnt been on the top since
i know you said you updated the enclosure, my thought is maybe is he going under the light or is he possibly just getting to the highest point he can? could possibly be solved with more foilage and climbing places if he doesnt have any already away from the light
is 81 low though? like it might be ever so slightly but for 3 months i think 81-83 should be good so if you change the bulb make sure its not getting too high. and what i find weird is that its going directly under the uvb instead of the basking if its a little cold.
dont see much of a...
awesome glad that got figured out :D.i should start taking more looks on amazon and what not but swear usually shipping to canada doesnt make it that worth it. like im currently looking for magnatural plant holders amazin says i only save 4$ which isnt that big of a deal
is the sound from the nose more like a huff? if so that is normal. wheezing, popping, cracking and other abnormal sounds is what i think you are looking for. from what ive heard will be pretty obvious that its not right
damn i should have just looked on amazon paid 30 for the one i got 8:1. anyways one of the probes was currently reading 76, at point blank the old gun was reading 83 and the new one point blank was 77.
so the display spot size of mine is 8:1, so from 8 inches away it is measures a inch square temp. then from 16 inches read a 2 inch square. unfortunately the one we had first (my brothers) no one knows what it reads its been around for a number of years now
my brother owns a temp gun and its always a fight on who has it or where it ends up. seen one 70% off so went and got it, the 2 of them read completely different readings. i dont know what to do or which to believe
agreed pupate them follow that blog full of knowledge been meaning to do so as well but been busy this summer. going to try now with silks and horns. everyone says keep feeding the moths. i swear my moth few months ago was bigger than any worm i had...
yeah when in doubt probably dont. you have learned a valuable lesson though. hornworms grow stupid fast so if you buy them for a couple days of feeding buy them small. when my panther was 3/4 months i wanted to give him a worm so bad couldnt find them small enough but bought one i thought would...
Def more than orange slices well produce more well rounded feeders with needed vitamins for your cham. Might also consider putting a lid on if you don't, I've had number of escapees before I did. Try and keep orange slices from coming in contact with egg crates to prevent mold. And do you have a...
most of the plants listed are found in the tropicals sections of nurseries, home depot lowes etc. so surviving the het an humidity isnt a problem. the most popular are the schefflera arboricola, ficus, pothos and hibiscus.
some others i have had, currently have or plan to have are bromeliads...
thought that too ill just keep an eye. looking a bit dull a shed could be coming its been a while hes only 6.5 months. but with the whole eating thing the enclosure is super filled in now compared to the past which could explain the slowed eating and cup feeding isnt as enticing for him but will...
I re-did my chams cage 3 days ago and put in some of my other plants and he has constantly been eating chewing my wandering jew plant. hes severed 3 of the vines and keeps chewing on the browing leave parts.
