The basking branch is about 7” down from the heat lamp with the other branches around 10” below the UVB. I also have a window insulation film on the sides to protect the walls. And one more random question, I know that chameleons aren’t really able to tell if they are too hot under a heat bulb which leads to thermal burns. Although they can’t regulate their heat well, are they able to regulate the UVB that they get, and therefore go lower into the cage under plants? Or...
