The little chuff/sneeze is my cham yelling at me. Sometimes I feel like he's a grumpy old man. "Hey! Kid! Stop spraying my lawn! You little whipper-snapper! just wait until I'm big enough to eat your hat....", etc. He always does it right before he gapes at me.... he's never hissed at me tho...

Definitely make sure that the end product (BEFORE CHAMELEON) goes up higher somewhere.... chams feel safer when they can get up and away....

Just to be safe, I'd assume that all the chemicals used in the product will, in one way or another, affect the chameleon. It'd be wise to plan accordingly....
