Hola! Hope someone answers your questions..all I have for you is more of them lol
How are you gutloading them this? Is it a pre-made thing or you do it yourself?
How many crickets do you usually have on hand eating this, and do you feed them this every time? Do you still dust with the d3's and...
Hey man I'm new to chameleon-ing too! lol..I've got a male jackson a little bit younger than yours..the only thing I wanted to add is..drainage! It took me a couple weeks to get this down, but having a proper drainage setup is a must..especially since our jacksons like higher humidity than...
Wheew what a relief..
I will adjust my schedule accordingly, so you say 2 D3/Ca in a one month period correct? that was my intention for d3 but i was not aware of him needing plain ca so often so thank you for that as well.

Hello all, typical new to chameleon-ing guy here, wanted to just post this here before I went to the health clinic. I've never seen a chameleon shed before so I just want to see if this is just a normal sign of what's to come. Thank you.
The first picture is before a mist, and the rest are...
This has been my problem this week too..after doing research and starting my own thread..and going to a few pet shops..I'm just going to order the mistking..it seems to really be the best option.
People on this site talk about the mistking like they get paid to sponsor it lol..and they don't..so...
So when I rushed to petco yesterday, the "nice" mister they had was the same price ($130) as the mistking..so I'll just order the good one and wait patiently.
However, I did the flat ice pack thing last night..and...got 64F!!! Now, my jax didn't go up to the corner that was 64..he stayed on...
Alright I'm going to fix this right now..
If you had to pick one for me that you think would benefit my jax the most in warm-nighted fl which would it be? Im sorry if you find this annoying..this problem just stress me out..if none of these options are viable, should I frozen bottle the...
OK thank you so much..that's alot of useful info..I think the frozen bottles..or some ice packs might be my best option for tonight and tomorrow.
I don't have an auto mister yet that is my next purchase, hopefully that will help cool him down.
Hey guys, in all the reading I've done I've seen that jacksons in particular like a good drop in temp at night..I've seen 50's I've seen low 60's..
But in the past week (here in central fl) his enclosure has not dropped below 70.0..
Is this a problem that needs remedy, or should my little guy...
Thanks!! I feel a bit more at ease now..lol
As for the lights, they're there..they just got cropped out lol..ive got the 5.0 uvb and a basking bulb as well. I measured the highest perches and they're around 8" away.

Hey guys, new here so bare with me. I have a juvenile jackson that has been here at my house (from the pet store) for about 4 days now.
I live in central fl for reference.
I started off the first and second day just leaving 4-8 (small) crickets in his enclosure, the first day they were dusted...
Hey guys..new to this forum and am really enjoying it..this is a male jackson, I was wondering if anyone can help approximate his age..his middle horn and left horn are very visible, the third seems to be hiding for right now? Is that normal? Thanks!!
