They can be fed of right after the ooth hatches. It will be up to you if you would like to care for them, the only downsize is that they will need to feed on other feeders.
It doesn't sound like MBD. It seems as it was caused by the lack of calcium/vitamins and your UV lights.
What UV brand do you use? Most are recommended to be replaced every 6 months. I would recommend you go to lightyourreptiles.com. I highly recommend their Arcadia bulbs( last a year :))...
I cut a piece of insulation foam to fit inside, then sprayed it with great stuff foam. After it dried I silicone dirt and moss on to it. Same thing that a lot of dart frog keepers do, so I thought I'd try it on Chams.:D
I agree but I also say it can't be done. Pinheads are fragile, I think it's just easier to get crickets in bulk. I also breed roaches, they are easy to me and my chameleons love them.
