Its 100% real I found time to personally collect them and from there i kept then in a bin for a month or 2 so they can grow... make sure you collect the moss that attaches to anything! not the ones that kinda need dirt if that makes sense. I then just attached it with string and let it grow...

I do believe seeing various palladiums using expandable foam with no issues. I want to see where you saw leeching of chemicals was a concern... Dr plants made a Vampire crab palladium and he does updates on it. Maybe check that out for a idea.
