im just giving you my advice to read a few care sheets, i dont mean to sound mean but these are basic questions that a basic care sheet will answer. again with my question how old are you?
how old are you? you really need to pick up a chameleon book, or article on the net and read it! ive been skimming threw this thread and they are basic questions that can be found in almost any care sheet.
well i dont think you have to buy new vines, just use the purple one you have and lift it up just a little. no need to spend more money. if you are going to buy some dont buy at petco those are like 10 bucks for 6ft rip off. check out craft or hobby store that might have fake vines as...
here is my enclosure, i have most of the branches towards the top and closer to the uvb lights, im not saying my cage is any better just that he is closer the the uvb lights and will absorb it easier
i would recommend putting a vine right under your uvb light so that he can absorb the rays better and easier, and just add a few more vines at the top also. they higher the better and the safer they will feel. other than that great set up and good luck with yoda

40 bucks plus 7 bucks for shipping, i think this could fit a college student budget, lol. do you live off campus? im moving to the...
well maybe you could purchase an explorarium, like a good size one 36 *24. ebay is cheap. you could strap him in the car seat, and maybe throw a blanket over it, so he might sleep and not be stressed. and of course just bring the lights and put them above the explorarium. these are awesome and...
anyone ever see their chameleon eat at night when the lights are out. well mine just did. i think i woke him when i was up, and had the light on for a second and turned it back off. i looked and saw that he had turned around, and a few minutes later i start hearing a crunching noise. so i guess...
well seems like you are giving him a great varity of feeders. i would recommend free roaming because they will make your chameleon active and want to go after his pray. if you are able to train your chameleon to eat from a cup, he may become lazy, and may also become bored with the food. my...
did you get a letter from the post office to come get it. i ordered from mulberry farms too, and i had to go to the post office to pick them up. i guess it was to hot so they made me go get them.
wow dave, i am jealous of all your feeders you got and what nice homes they got and as well as your chameleons. very nice, i wish my grandparents wouldnt mind that in our home, lol.
yea im not looking at this in a bad way, but a strange way. he is choosing leaves over crickets, so he must be bored or sick, and he doesnt seem to be sick to me. i think he might be starting a hunger strike, as others have stated that their chameleons have also done. anyone know how long these...
is this normal. i just saw my guy eat a dead leaf in the pot where the ficus is. there is food inside his cage, and are leaves all over his cage. is this normal?
the only comment i would have to say is to get a bigger cage. that maybe why she was walking on the bottom of the cage. what are those 2 things at the top of the cage? basking, uvb lights, or mist system? you also dont want to sand on the floor, but in some form of a container, so when she does...
