How do I make him not afraid of me?

My 3-4 month old male closes his eyes when I pick him up, not any other time. He has his eyes open all the time except for when I pick him up and he closes them. He might open them and look around when he's on my hand but then he closes them again. Is he afraid of me?

I plan on cleaning it down Mondays Wednesdays and fridays :) as for the top perch, I'll lower it a bit

He's been doing so much better, he's still eating and moving around ALOT more. I just got him petstore habitat vines and a waterfall to keep up humidity and I've uped daily sprayings. He likes to play hide and seek in the leaves only sticking his head out to look at me x3

I just got the new bulbs a few hours ago and already, Vivid is looking so much better! He's now laying on the branches anymore, he got up and is moving around and he actually ate for me! Thank you guys so much!
