She finally layed today first clutch ever in her life , 30 eggs all look great

I filled it up with more she has about 10-11 inches to dig now .

It’s almost have way from that bucket it’s about 2 inchs from half way

I figured that’s what she was as doing it’s been going on for about 3 days now, she has never layed eggs before she’s about 2 years old , and yea she has full privacy

I breed my female 6/22/18, she has shown gravid colors however she keeps going into the laying bin digs very little then comes out , then sometimes goes in and then does nothing then comes back out? Is that normal? I have blocked off her enclosure completely

I say male I could kinda see the little buldge and the color as well

I just confirmed she is gravid I put her in front of his cage and once she seen him she did the non receptive dance

She flaired up but then she calmed down afterwards the male was trying to breed and she was actually gonna let herself but I took the male out

Yea usually you should start seeing colors within 4/5 months And they can start producing infertle eggs as young as 6 months , they can produce eggs without a male they will just not be fertile , however from research that I’ve seen it also depends how much feeding you are offering them will...

However in about another month u should be able to tell even more if ud like you can always repost a pic in the future to get a second opinion on it .
