I recently purchased 4 Reptibreeze Large (18×18×36) online from a reputable company. Two last week, and 2 this week. Got around to setting them up, and three of the four have ripped screens. The fourth is not ripped, but you can see a bulge where the screen was stressed. The rips vary in size...

I could be wrong, but I believe RO water is very corrosive. I don't think brass is recommended. Not sure if the same applies to dechlorinated tap water.

If you can get your hands on some soldier flies, he will put your mind at ease. Have yet to see a cham that won't go running for them. You can push the bsfl to maturity with some food and heat. Usually only takes a week or two if you bought the large size

Been there, done that. As long as they don't have a source of water, they should die off pretty fast. Now you get to look forward to finding their dried up dead bodies in all kinds of unbelievable places :)
