    First round of hatchlings hatched on my birthday! Any extra feeder advice is welcomed, using flightless melanogaster flies currently. Plan on hatching some baby silks to feed as well. Are pinheads a necessary staple? Thanks!

    Rescued this little one from Petco, just looking for some reassurance on their sex (sold as a male). Also trying to determine which species/subspecies they could be as Petco was not aware. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

    They’re a solid 8 inches above them, it’s definitely possible the substrate is a higher temp than the ambient temp. Do you by chance have any reference photo of a healthy amount of condensation on the lid? Long shot maybe but i figured it could be useful to refer to. Any extra information...

    yes pardalis, 74 degrees ambient temp in the incubator

    yes they are pushed into the vermiculite slightly so there’s no rolling around or anything. They’re at 74 degrees fahrenheit.

    What is the best incubation methods? I’m currently experiencing a bit of water collecting on the lid of my egg container. My setup now is a chest freezer with a heat mat at the bottom regulated by the thermometer combo. Any info is appreciated!

    the white spots are just him i believe, but i should of clarified that those drier looking spots resembling warts are the ones i’m concerned with as they only appeared today. if it were to be papillomas starting, is it a threat to my other two chameleons? is that contagious in reptiles? thanks...
