Will a Chinese Mantis be a good food source for a cham? I heard they like to eat mantis but I'm worried about how they can bite and from experience from being around them they are quite fast and agile.
yea I tried putting the dubia's on the leaves and they just ran away lol. Rangos even does the little head jerk to tell me to get those away from him lol
Yea I hate crickets so much. Not only do they bite they stink. I wish my guy enjoyed Dubias but whenever I try and offer them he's never interested in them.
I have a Jacksons. and yea he's all good now It was just super shocking I have never seen him behave like that. and he got black stripes too. But now he's okay.
I put a little bit larger of crickets then what I usually feed Rango and I saw him open his mouth super wide and vibrate and hiss. and I was wondering what coulda caused this. My general hypothesis was from the larger crickets he hasn't done it since I removed them.
Here are my lights the one in the back is a LED light for the plants the one in the middle is a heat lamp (I never have it on due to the basking spot being the perfect temp without it). And the on one the front is my UVB Light.

I cleaned his cage on Saturday as well and added A lot more vines and a plant just to change it up for him and have more places for him to explore. He loved it the first 2 days but yesterday he was stressed all day. He had a dull Olive Green skin complexion.

So my 5 month old Jacksons Chameleon was acting strange all day, Yesterday he ate 1 big silkworm and I tried to feed him BSFL off my hand but he was nervous or something and his tongue didn't shoot out very far so I got very concerned. Today he ate a couple crickets and his tongue shot out fine...
