Don’t worry. There will be a lot of movement and then they will need to sleep for what can be quite a while. Sometimes the hatching process can take a long time.
I get this from time to time as well! It definitely happens to me more with babies and juveniles as their nails are sharper than my older guys. I wash with soap and water and it seems to go away after a few hours.

That is why our first chameleons were Nosy Be. They pretty much look green/turquoise/blue all the time, at rest and fired. Other chams can look very different when calm.
