Update
He is doing awesome now. Eyes are open all the time. He is still a little thin but now that he is eating 5x as many crickets as when he had his eye problems I think he'll gain fairly quickly. Thanks to all those who gave their advice.
Anyone know where or if I can get them in Florida? I think I'd like to start breeding to feed to my cham. I live in the Cocoa Beach area. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Well so far his eyes have been open since I woke up. He does blink a bit, but I saw him drink and his appetite has returned. I guess the bath plus getting rid of that powersun helped. Does anyone know how often you should/can give them baths?

Hi, I've had my veiled for about 1-2 weeks now and was wondering if anyone might know whats wrong with him.
* Cage Type - 4 x 3 x 2 cage, with screen on 3 sides on the top, wood on the back.
* Lighting - im using a reptisun 10. long tube, but I was using a 100w Powersun for a week...
That actually sounds like a sweet idea. Unfortunately there's no spot I can see where one would fit. I can imagine it would be be extremely difficult for the crickets to get out though.
Does anyone know of a type of dish that will help keep crickets in instead of them hoppin around all over the place? Right now I'm using 3-4 inches plastic bucket. Some are not smart enough to make it out but most do. Any help would be appreciated.
