my cage has only started to rust in one spot, because water was on the mesh and i didnt dry it, so if you keep the mesh dry you should have a problem with rusting, so after misting if you see any water on the screen just give it a quick wipe with paper towel and you will be fine

id suggest getting a Linear UVB tube bulb(recommend a reptisun 5.0) instead of using the coil bulb, they have been known to cause eye problems. 84 is a little hot for a little guy, raise up the lamp a bit to try to get the basking area around 80 degrees. Good idea on the dripper but you still...

I believe its from over supplementing calcium. So there is too much calcium in their system so they are just expelling it through their nostrils
