Anyone got Exo terra screen terrariums if so please post pics

Exos are not popular in the states for chameleons. If you search European Forums they use them much more readily then here.

I used kills oil based primer and that's it. This was on the inside of a stand with an open saltwater sump. There is no harsher environment and it held up great.

    D3 poisoning

I understand d3 is fat soluble and has the potential to build up in an animal over time and potentially cause issues. My question to everyone is, have you had or have you known some one who has a documented instance of d3 poisoning? Not, my friend had a buddy whose animal died of d3 poisoning...

    Alfred's new enclosure!

I would suggest total darkness, unlike other reptile chameleons can see the red light spectrums etc and it will disturb their sleep cycle.

in preparation for my new guy I'm trying to figure out how many crickets I should order at once. To start out I plan to purchase locally but at fourteen cents a piece to determine best size but it doesn't make sense to not at least try banded crickets. My question is how long do they live, I...

    Help Please...

I would take him to the closest qualified vet. I can't see much from the picture but your description sounds like a foreign object could be lodged in his eyelid or possibly the beginning of an infection. How is his grip and appetite?

    Expensive crickets

Crickets at local pet stores are ridiculous, they are affordable if you feed a single animal or work at the store like myself. Online you can get them for 2 to 3 cents a piece. Food and water can be bought at petco/petsmart or online for a tenth the price. Google crickets for sale and you will...

    Blue Veiled Chameleons?

three months is a good age, you don't want to get any younger then that. My suggestion (and not a knock at all) is that you purchase several books to research their care and requirements. They are not hard animals to care for but very intolerant of not having their needs met.

    no poo

superworms are preferable to mealworms, as far as feeding them what they want I would have to disagree, kids want cookies all the time but we don't give in. It is a balance, nutritous feeder insects w/treats sometimes and most importantly variety! As far as poo, if he is still eating and has...

Feeding a 4 month translucent veiled chameleon

My guys have never eaten wax worms, just as well I suppose they have very little nutritional value. As far as alternatives, skys the limit, hornworms are good, roaches, hatching mantids, silkworms, the list goes on, variety is the key
