Im so excited! I added two plants to her cage this morning around 8:00, a Dwarf Hibiscus and a Money Tree and today when I got home around 5:00 the white residue on her nose was gone! :D
Now what Im worried about is her acclimating to her new cage set up, she is freaking out and pacing around...
were the pluged tearducts due to low humidity? im wondering this because my female 2 month old cham's tearducts generally have a white crust on them but she seems to be breathing fine...is this a problem caused by humidity? im supplamenting correctly so i wonder if humidity is the problem...
Alright good im glad i still have a while before i have to worry about adding the container.

She has her eyes open all day and the light doesnt seem to be bothering her, so i am hoping the repti-sun 5.0 im using is okay for her...it better be it cost me around 25 bucks! haha ;)
so around 5 to 6 months put the container in there just incase shes ready to lay her eggs?

and did you purchase the corner bracket off of the mistking website? or do you just have it secured to a corner of your cage?

I recently got a mistking and installed it, i had a similar misting schedule to yours but my problem with it is that it shakes and vibrates the cage a lot which really upsets and scares...

and how often should my new veild be shedding? ive had her for 2 weeks and i dont think she has showed any signs of shedding should i be worried?

I have a screen cage and thank you for the tip I will defiantly try it! What should the humidity be at? Im also gonna try leaving a warm wet towel at the bottom of her cage which is supposed to increase humidity...have you heard of this or tried this way to increase humidity?
the only thing i would be worried about is how to be absolutely sure that i got all of the soap off of the leaves just incase my cham decides to snack on them...

I have a one to two month old female Veiled Chameleon (im unsure because the petstore didnt know how old she was) and I keep her humidity in her cage around 40, is this too low? and if so what should it be at?
