I’m really not trying to be rude but when you decide to take on the responsibility of getting a new pet it’s your own responsibility to do the research and find out all about their needs. It was nobody else’s responsibility to inform you. Also, I wouldn’t have him close to the female as this is...
My chameleon is very skittish too. At the beginning he used to dart to the other side of the cage when I walked in the room and it was very hard to get close to him. He still does get nervous when I'm around and hides behind his favorite branch as soon as I walk in the room, but he's been slowly...
Sure you're not talking about wax worms? I might be completely wrong, I don't have a ton of experience. I've just never heard of super worms being super fatty. I might be wrong, just trying to clarify :)
Go figure... I wake up today and guess who's starting to shed! :ROFLMAO:
Just a few cracked little white corners on his limbs and a white little face so far :) Last time he shed, I saw him like this around 8am and when I got back from work at 5 he was fully done! Hopefully it all goes well again!
Most of the time it’s just ignorance.. sadly a lot of people that buy animals do it out of impulse.. they don’t really take their time to do proper research. These big stores also take advantage of people’s ignorance and keep treating animals the way they do because they can. It’s like the...

Since I got him a couple of months ago, he's only shed once. Is this normal? It went pretty smooth and took him less than a day to fully shed all of his skin, but since then I haven't seen him shed again.
Excuse my ignorance, but this is the first time I hear about a monthly mouth cleaning routine for chameleons.
Is this something I should be doing?
Also pics of the chameleon and his enclosure would help, but you really do need to fill out all the information asked for in the form. If there is anything you're not doing at the moment just state it so people here can guide you and help you correct your husbandry.
Thanks for your input. I have already decided to leave him where he is now. The other place where I could put him has way too much traffic and I feel like it would just end up stressing him out more. I just figured if he could have observed people from a safe distance he could slowly get used to...
