need to fatten my little guy up

I have a 4 month old Panther and he eats around 20 per day. You need to free range the crickets and not cup feed him. I tried cup feeding in the past, and it doesn't offer them enough stimulation. They love to hunt!

Young panther doesn't like feeding cup

I would let him hunt. I have a similar situation with a 4.5 month old panther. He is much happier hunting them! I started with the cup method too but not enough stimulation for him.

    Panther boy Camo!

He is 4.5 months old and growing fast. Not sure when I should expand his cage? Currently in a large reptibreeze (18x18x36), and I raised the floor about 8 inches. Hope he takes after his sire!! ;)

Is feeding a chameleon a nightmare?

I had a reef tank prior to my chameleon. It sounds bad at first but I usually get crickets once a week. I enjoyed looking at the reef tank but the maintenance was crazy. Way more can go wrong too, and the money invested was insane.

    Aggressive or defensive?

The more you interact with him the better, I handle mine daily and offer him treats like mealworms/waxworms. He is defensive when he feels threatened. It makes it easier when he associates food with handling. My Panther is also 4-5 months old, and now enjoys being handled :)

High fat feeders for a sick cham

Waxworms are high in fat, and superworms are good too and easy to find. They are like candy to them so feed sparingly!

    Dark 4 month old Panther.

I believe the temps are good...basking is 82, room temp 70's (75 watt heat bulb/Reptisun 5.0 linear). I had a veiled under a 100 watt but he was gaping, should I use this instead? But he is dark, almost black most of the time, and feces/ urates are healthy. Unless he is stimulated with...
