I just woke up my Jackson Chameleon and he climb to the top of his cage and got all black and green I know that black can mean stress so I was wondering if he was just absorbing heat or starting to shed and get uncomfortable maybe?

I am not sure of his exact age but he's probably around 6 months old he has Melon chunks and 2 crickets everyday not just crickets.

Are real or fake plants better for a Jackson Chameleon cage? If real what kind of plants could I put in there? How much real/fake plants should I keep in his cage? Here is a picture of what I have in there already

I'm sorry my camera is cracked and he didn't stay still I tried to describe it Its basically a small zig zag line in between his eye and upper lip and its gray it might be shedding but that's as well as I could describe it.

He wouldn't stay that still its a very small line that's gray its closer to his eye then his mouth

I think there is something wrong maybe there isn't with my Jackson chameleons lip. He has like a dark gray line right above his lip on the right side.

He only shows one sign of respiratory infection. The mouth opening he doesn't have crust in his mouth. He doesn't have any visable mucus. He doesn't make bubbles or anything.
