I just woke up my Jackson Chameleon and he climb to the top of his cage and got all black and green I know that black can mean stress so I was wondering if he was just absorbing heat or starting to shed and get uncomfortable maybe?

This might just be my sisters but they absolutely love melons specifically cantaloupe plus it has a lot of vitamin A which they need to prevent tooth/Jaw rotting

Are real or fake plants better for a Jackson Chameleon cage?

I'm sorry my camera is cracked and he didn't stay still I tried to describe it
Its basically a small zig zag line in between his eye and upper lip and its gray it might be shedding but that's as well as I could describe it.
He only shows one sign of respiratory infection.
The mouth opening he doesn't have crust in his mouth. He doesn't have any visable mucus. He doesn't make bubbles or anything.
