Dragon Strand offering Arcadia Supplements in the US!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for this @DeremensisBlue! My RevitaliseD3 will be here Saturday and will be replacing it with the Repashy LoD I have. I'd love to get clarification first hand for a juvenile who is feeding every day. From my understanding it's recommended to do the following with an every day feeding...

    CUP FED OR LOOSE INSECTS?

100% this! As someone who just dealt with, and still dealing with, coccidia I highly recommend cup feeding. It's cleaner, bugs don't hide, and you can count how many they eat. It's also really cute to see them wake up and go to their cup and look at you like, "where's breakfast, daaaaaad?" My...

    New Panther baby!

He could simply be getting used to his new cage. I know you're hesitant on changing more of his cage, but as other members have mentioned I would take him out of the cage and have him set on a vine/plant while you make ALL of the remaining changes. I would recommend doubling or tripling the...

    New Panther baby!

I've working with a new little guy as well. He was/is hesitant about cup feeding and clearly has more interest in free ranging bugs. That being said I'm also working through coccidia, so I wanted to stop free ranging bugs all together. He clearly SAW the bugs in my TK Chameleons Gallery and...

Chameleon Vet in the Bay Area - Recs ASAP Please

Hello everyone, I unfortunately just heard that my new little guy has Coccidia. 40+ instances. So, I'm clearly taking him into a vet ASAP, which is Friday morning. This vet (new vet) said that one of the things I can do in the meantime is make sure he has a basking spot of 90-95. He's only...

Fell While Preparing to Shed. Had one eye closed.

I tried loading it up this morning and it seems to help? He rushed to the feeder like normal and eventually took one (that I saw). He still seemed to prefer the couple RIGHT OUTSIDE THE SHOOTING GALLERY rather than the crickets inside. I'll keep trying this. But, I do have another update. I...

    Mister and fogger?

This is a great resource to read through: https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-cage-set-up-naturalistic-hydration/ In summary, it's recommended to have 30–50% humidity during the day and 70–100% at night. A combo of mister, fogger, and dripper can work very well. How some are approaching...

Yes, definitely RO or distilled. No tap! Looks like I have some RO filter installation research to do. Thanks again!

Fell While Preparing to Shed. Had one eye closed.

Oh, overloading it at first is a great idea! He seeeeems to notice there are more in there, but maybe not. Having that many should make them move around quite a bit. I'll try it first thing in the morning! I'll also try making those adjustments to basking and fogging times. It makes a ton of...

Fell While Preparing to Shed. Had one eye closed.

I attached a picture of his shooting gallery location. It's at basking level and there's a branch that leads up right to it. It's the first place he goes in the morning or when I open his cage. He uses it, but he seems hesitant compared to roaming crickets or my hand. Although he hasn't taken...

    Shaking while walking?

No, but he showed you his butt! Haha, I'll take the butt over hiding any day.

Well, now he's doing acrobatics to catch the crickets I let loose in his cage...

Fell While Preparing to Shed. Had one eye closed.

No pictures of his eye closed. I've only seen it twice for about 10 second periods, but know this is still a no no. If I see him with his eyes closed again I'll be sure to take another picture. For all I know I could just be a worried new Dad, but better safe than sorry.

Fell While Preparing to Shed. Had one eye closed.

Current Problem Today Kenshō was crawling on top of his TK Chameleons Large shooting gallery and fell to the bottom of the cage. He froze and became pitch black. I decided to help him up and look for obvious injuries. I didn't see any so I put him back which he gladly rushed to the nearest...

    My Chameleon died

Again, so sorry for your loss. Beman's advice is great. I know you answered a good amount of this, but if you do get another one we'd love to help prepare the best set up for the little tree dragon. Please copy and paste this form and answer every single line and detail. Try to copy and paste...

When to Replace Cricket Water Cubes?

That makes a lot of sense. Do you just end up replacing the vermiculite every time you get a new batch of crickets?
