Do you guys think these silkworm eggs are still viable?

Ah damn, I’m from Croatia so I guess I’ll have to keep searching. Thanks for replying!

Do you guys think these silkworm eggs are still viable?

Hi, I’m just lurking and saw this :D. I’m also from Europe and can’t find any silkworm or any worm breeders except for superworms and mealworms. Could you post the link to the website please? If you buy them online, that is.

    Age/size

Hey, thanks for checking up. The fecal hasn’t been done yet as my mom forgot to bring it to the vet station because it had to be done on tuesday morning and the vet station is quite far, I have to get to school also and I’m still underage and can’t legally drive so I couldn’t do it. But it will...

    Bioactive

Thanks for all the tips, definitely seems more like something I want to do now. Can’t wait to get it done so I can admire the mini ecosystem in my room and of course give my boy a better home. :)

    Bioactive

@GoodKarma19 I’ve seen your amazing bioactive enclosure. Could you help with answering my questions and give me some tips if you have time please?

    Bioactive

Yeah, I really like the idea of it, but my main questions are if bioactive is viable in a full screen cage and if moving the chameleon for like 1-2 weeks and then in the bioactive cage again is not too stressful?

    Bioactive

So recently I got in touch with a guy from my town who also had a veiled chameleon for 10 years (which is really long so I guess he knows what he’s doing). He makes all kinds of backgrounds for vivariums/terrariums/screen cages etc. He suggested going bioactive because he tried it and really...

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

I’ve been using arcadia T5 14% UVB for more than a month now, but today I bought arcadia T5 6% UVB because it’s more adequate and a lot less likely to cause burns.

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

I got zoomed products and is alternating reptivite and calcium + D3 every once a week too much D3? Because both contain it. Should I go 4 times a month with reptivite or 2 times a month reptivite and 2 times a month calcium + D3?

    Plants and flowers

Be sure to spray and clean them with water before putting them in the cage. You can also place rocks over the soil so your chameleon can’t eat the soil.

Pothos are great and pretty durable, you can also put ficus benjamin and/or schefflera arboricola. There are many more, but these ones are mostly recommended from what I’ve seen.

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

I’ve had it for a month and he likes being right under it so I’m buying the arcadia T5 6% D3 one tomorrow along with zoomed supplements

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

Should it be replaced immediately? Can it cause any harm to the chameleon?

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

    It’s a reptibreeze XL cage (4’ 2’ 2’) with 2 pothos, 1 schefflera arboricola and 2 fake plants, should I switch to 6% or 12% then?

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

I have a panther chameleon, using arcadia 14% T5 (should I be using 6% one instead as it says it’s meant for forests or thr 12% one, or is this one fine?), gutloading dubias, lateralis and superworms with collard greens, kale, sweet potato, carrots and rarely apples and oranges. Should I get the...

    Arcadia vs Zoomed supplements

Which one would you prefer based on personal experience or just looking at optimal calcium/vitamin values? I’d use either arcadia earth pro A, arcadia earth pro calcium pro mg, zoomed calcium + D3 OR zoomed calcium, zoomed reptivite, zoomed calcium + D3.

    Terrairum

Definitely bigger than that for an adult. 61cm/61cm/122cm should be enough (ZOOMED Reptibreeze XL size)

    Overmisting

The guide seemed interesting, but you’re right about the reality being they aren’t used to the wild, but to the conditions they are kept in captivity. Imitating their natural habitat conditions should be the goal, but also creating healthy enclosure habits. I get what you’re saying and I agree...

    Overmisting

Wow, that’s a great guide, thanks a lot for the throughout explanation! :) p.s. Should I run the fogger at low, medium or high?
