    Calcium, d3, vitamins.... My breeder is totally different with care...

    i just talked to my breeder of veiled..... Twenty years experience. Her animals seem very healthy and are around for years at the show. She recommends calcium with d3 and heroavite every first feeding and only the calcium with for second feeding. Never had any issues..... So what gives? This...

    Just brought home a veiled... What should I expect first week?

    Well he's eating readily now... Mix of crickets and dubia. Ilk be stopping crickets and using silkworms when they've grown enough. The crickets are a pain to keep. His urates are a vibrant white now. My question is when and how should I go about trying to handle him?

    I like the white interior and mesh so bugs stand out. Maybe it's overkill as they have excellent eyesight? I'm sure non toxic markers would be better than paint that can chip.

    I wonder if a simple core design would be better than a cylinder. Also the ratio of cup depth to cylinder height is off. Should be taller cylinder or shorter cup.

    Use lots of water absorbing materials so the soil is "dry" The plants can draw it out of the materials Vermiculite fine Spaghnum Etc.

    i thought this would be the consistency of hard cheese by the directions off grating it It doesn't realty grate as much as glops of the"brick" Did I do something wrong? And suggestions to make it easier to handle?

    Well I bought the little guy Sunday at 11:00am I've yet to see him eat anything The Dubia cup seems untouched He looks fine and finished a shed His urate was slightly tinged He seems mostly content perching on an outcrop twig and runs for the vines during misting Time to fret?
