How do y’all get them to become so friendly and lovable. My Lizzy is such a grouch

Her basking area is 85. I don’t hear any popping or wheezing! And she just laid 27 eggs on November 18 but yes the lay bin is still in her enclosure

My Lizzy has been basking with her mouth open for the past couple of days. Is this normal?

Yes she is looking skinny again with her extra skin lol

I’m not sure if she had any she’s not dirty from digging and she is at the top today basking like normal

She ate all her food after leaving her alone for the day and is looking way better today! 🤞 that she was just exhausted and didn’t want to be bothered

I think turning her lights off triggered her to stop she was covering the eggs when I got home and then when I turned the lights off is when she climbed to top and went to sleep

Oh no! Okay I am in the Houston area do y’all recommend any vets the last one I went seemed like that was their first time handling one and got scared when she hissed

I covered her bottom half just in case I figured. I will leave her alone again

No she has never been around a male just don’t know how the whole process works. For the future if I ever wanted to breed.

Next question how do they become fertilized? Does she have to mate with a male or she lays them and the male comes in and fertilizes
