At those tube lengths the water to the second shed will definitely be cool off. Do you know how much you are spraying? If you do, the temperature loss calculations can be done.
So I know my plants are new and small. What should I do in preparation for a new veiled?
I was going to add vines and some fake plants till the real ones get larger.
Added some more branches and plants. All live plants. We are going to put some vine in as well.
Using the floral wire through the mesh. Will probably add tacks through the outside as well.
All the plant pots are in metal loops. This allows us to remove them if needed.
The vine...
I have started placing the branches. The top branch is about 6-7 inches from the heat lamp. The branches are hung using floral wire.
After the branches and plants are in, I will take the cage down and fit the plastic sides and back.
Still pondering a drain or pan at the bottom. The bottom...
hey everyone! I figured I would start a thread for my build. The space I have is 36" wide, 24" deep, and 40" tall. We are planning on a veiled chameleon.
The first photo is the wall we are working with. I am moving the bookshelves apart and placing the enclosure between them.
I decided on a...

That seems easy.
I was thinking also of applying green vinyl to the plastic panels as I have a vinyl cutting machine.
i want to build my own enclosure for a new veiled but want to have the sides and back solid. I was thinking of using aluminum screen frame, like normal, but try to do the sides and back with clear plastic instead of screen material.
I tried searching the forum but didn't find anything. Maybe...
Yes, I was going to have the bottom of the cage elevated 36" with an enclosure to store supplies. Then the cage will go to the top of the bookcases approximately 7' high. It will actually be a little bigger than 24"x24" as the sides will be angled to meet the depth of the bookcases. The cross...
Does anyone know if repticon Houston is any good? It is at the end of October. I was going to try to have my cage built by then and see if there are any Veiles or Panthers there.
