Also do female veiled chameleons get significantly smaller than the males? Mine is pretty small still and I have had her since October. I wouldn't even say she is half the size of an adult male.
Don't be ugly... don't be ugly... no need! I won't feed them greens no more, I was just wondering because a Youtuber of mine is very educated and feeds hers so I figured i'd give it a try! Thank you tho mr boy
I struggle keeping them alive, also i've never once saw my chameleon try to eat the fake plants. Maybe adding collard greens makes them think its leaves and they eat that intsead of the fake plants? Either way mine never shows interest in eating the plants.
See the lumps on her butt and at the start of her tail? What are those? I was over feeding her but starting a few days ago I got her on the right diet!
I don’t know about in a week, I just give her any amount from 5-10 per day. She only ever ate like two worms a day as a baby now she’s a beast. She is 6 months id assume. Got her from petco in october and she was weeeee itty bitty
I accidentally have been over feeding my cham and she is a chunky monkey now. You can see little lumps on her belly which I thought were eggs but apparently she is just overweight. I feed her 5-10 superworms daily max. She just started eating collard greens sometimes too. My question is:
Do I...
sorry to hear about your chameleon, doesn't seem like you did much of anything wrong. Unfortunately that is the risk you take when you buy from local Pet Stores, and that out come happens far too often. I recommend if you get another one find a reptile store and an expo. Somewhere that...
I just want to know if she is gravid. She gets calcium dusted insects daily and a multi-vitamin once a month.
Her leg isn't like that anymore idek what it was.

Tons of foliage though all fake plants at the moment. I mist her three times a day and also has a good gradient of temperature going from top to bottom.
She basks like normal.
maximum 10 bugs everyday. I toss some collard greens in her food cup too and she eats that as well. She eats superworms and occasionally dubias to add enrichment.
