    Lights for plants

lights I have the typical set up 24x24x48 enclosure with a scheflera in there. I was using the 6500kv tube but it just wasn't working out. I ordered a Jungle Dawn LED spotlight from site sponsor Light Your Reptiles. While the light was expensive ($79), it seems to have made the plant perk up...

    Misting

I mist my fella really well in the morning before I head to work. I avoid soaking him because his lights don't come on til after I leave. Then I give his enclosure a good misting again when I get home, this time not worrying about how wet he gets. He usually takes off and hides under a leaf...

    Mercury Vapour Vs Florescent tubes

mv I really like the MV bulbs. I've been using one for about 5 months for my veiled and he seems to be perfectly fine with it. You are right though, they are very sensitive. I received a new Jungle Dawn LED spotlight yesterday from Light Your Reptiles and I barely bumped the MV bulb, sure...

:-( So sorry to hear what your going thru. Your story made me tear up. Youve done so much for her, at least you have the consolation of knowing you did you best. I know that doesn't make it easier to bear.

    not liking this.

handling I am dealing with the same thing. My fella Gazoo is about 6 months old and he tries to hide from me, its quite comical. If I try to pick him up he will run and if he can't run he will turn and try hissing, then biting. I've learned that the only way I can handle him so far is if I...

    Unhappy Baby Jacksons

Lol That is hilarious. I hate people that react negatively to something they have absolutely no exerience with. I have an awesome rottie, I've actually had women come up and start petting and loving her, and then they hear she is a rottie and they quickly tense up and walk away. How stupid...

:-( so sorry for your loss. I lost one of my panthers back in October. The breeder and I could not figure out what happened and think something stressed him out. I've been hesitant to buy another since and really want to. My other panther is doing great, as well as my veiled and jacksons...

Comment by 'zerpda' in media 'Right after work when I use to work in the fields. FIELD LABORER! = )'

Gotta love that field work, definitely builds character. I've picked grapes, cherries, plums, peaches, pruned vines, tied vines, thinned grapes. Pretty much hated it at the time, but as an adult I see how good it was for me.
