My parson's just decides he is done with the year and tells everyone to get off his lawn. My Jackson's will be active all year.

Going to take Eustis to the vet on saturday

I would keep the basking light on for how ever long he seems to need it or you need it to maintain the correct ambient temperature. During winter I end up leaving my basking lights on all day, but that is because I am not able to heat my house.

Going to take Eustis to the vet on saturday

Jackson's don't have a natural brumation because they don't have a sustained cold or dry season. In Kenya they have two wet and two dry seasons which don't have a whole lot of temperature variation between the two. That said, they are reptiles and they will respond to lower temperatures by being...

The Parson chameleon. Care and needs simplified.

The only known photo of @OldChamKeeper. Rumor has it that he/she/it was actually on the Chameleon Breeder Podcast (before it was rebranded) with Bill, but, unfortunately, there were no witnesses of how many people were (or weren't) in the room during the recording...

The Parson chameleon. Care and needs simplified.

When we succeed in fusing the genetics that give us a parson's size parthenogenetic panther chameleon with Jackson's horns and quad sail fins you will know the final convergence is nigh.

The Parson chameleon. Care and needs simplified.

Not to worry, I am sure malevolent AI bots enjoy keeping Parson's too. So the advice is solid. But, as for the true identity of this cave "being", I have it narrowed down to AI bot, Yeti, or Batman. The investigation is ongoing.

But who is this guy, really? Has anyone ever actually seen @OldChamKeeper ? Can you be sure he is not just an AI bot?

    US Dwarf Jackson Chameleons

There is a breeding group in Europe with people that have the ability to export to the US. It may be a few years, but there is a possibility to work with them again even if Tanzania never opens back up.

FINALLY some movement in the industry

Unfortunately, this is actually only the 36” cage. So it is a couple steps in the right direction, but it still falls short of being what it should be. The biggest victory here is that ZooMed actually responded to the pressure from the hobbyist community. The marketing is still incorrect as this...

I tired to distract him... ...but to no avail. I fear he is dead set on his path! Though I do have to say that my friends that have the Cuban False Chameleon Anole (Anolis barbatus) seem quite taken with them!
