    Feeding my panther a pinky

he has been sick lately. Started with the typical symptoms....one or both eyes shut at times, sleeping during the day, then eventually not eating reguarly. I took him into the vet, where he was given a round of antibiotic there, fluids and blood was taken. his phosphorus level was a bit...

    Moisture sources?

showers are always good for chams....mine anyway, perks him up, both the water and the steam that builds in the bathroom....and a great opportunity for him to get hydrated.

my female chameleon cannot open they eyes(both)

It sounds like the best option is a trip to the vet, as in many cases. From what I know about cham health, many health problems are evident by changes in the eyes...even if it is not an eye problem directly. In the short term something you can try to perk your cham up a little, while also...

    Feeding my panther a pinky

Yea, you think there is no good reason to feed him a pinky. I wasnt ever going to, like I said I dont think Waldo has it in him..ha. But I was going to try strictly because of the recommendation made by my vet; she said they are a good source of Vitamin A. Do you know of any other ways tro...

    Feeding my panther a pinky

I have known that a pinky is on the diet of panthers (not typical as crickets and superworms are) and I have seen videos of chams taking down pinkies. Anyone have any experience feeding a pinky to their chams. My vet advised I try it as a good source of Vitamin A. Im going to try it this...

    Panther - STRANGE behavior

:confused:I have a male panther who is a little over a year old. He has not been well lately. I have had him at the vet, and he is currently on antibiotics. He is much better than when I took him to the vet; no longer lethargic, both eyes open and awake all day, however today he did something...
