Unfortunately we have the Reptisun 5.0 coil bulb, not the linear- our linear will be here sometime next week. He is a Veiled, 3 months old. Right now he is in a 18x18x24, our new cage will be here by Friday and its the 30x30x48.

my chameleon has eaten a fern that i cannot identify, im worried for his health. is there anything i should be watching him for? or was the plant okay for him to munch on?

Charmander just took a big munch out of the fern we are using as a vine in his cage... Should he be eating this? Should we take it out?

Thank you all so much! Sorry, new to the boards so I keep forgetting I've posted! His low is usually around 40% and we push it to 80% when we mist, so it seems as though we are right on track! Cleaning out his cage today and will add some more live plants and get the dripper on track =] Thanks...

Hmm, maybe I have misunderstood what the humidity really should be. He is kept indoors since it gets so darn cold. Good to know he isn't as fragile as we have been treating him! Not digital, cheap dial gauge from petco.

I am having a heck of a time trying to keep the cage humid enough (thank you California weather)... any suggestions aside from a dripper or spraying 100's a day?

Thank you both so much! That photo was about a week after we got him, so he has about doubled in size. Has some nice yellow to him and some blue occasionally =] I appreciate it and I will head to Home Depot in the morning!!

Our little Charmander is only about 3.5 months old, but we are having a hard time with cost effective foliage. Any suggestions? He is in a smaller cage now and will move up to a bigger one for Christmas :D (Preferably something that our drip can run into)
