Thank you Cain. :D
Chad - try to incubate the eggs at 72° Fahrenheit by day and 63° F at night. After 6 months you have to raise the temperature by 5° F.
Try to split the clutch in 2, 3 or 4 parts and incubate them at different places. Maybe you can breed not all eggs with this way...

Greetings, Peter
Mhhhh, I see nothing ventilation on front, maybe there is a small, if there is a small ventilation, it´s too small. I would say no for chameleons.
Try to get a cage with a big ventilation on front like this:
If you can´t get a cage with a good ventilation, maybe a gaze cage is better -...
Thank You for the compliments!! :D
We removed only the glass and the small perforated metal plate from top side. For this we used a scalpel to cut the silicone between the glass-wafer.
After cleaning the silicon fugue, we paste the aluminium gauze with silicone on the top side.

Nice, but nothing for Chameleons. The ventilation on front is far too small for a acceptable air change.
I am a glass-cage-fan, but the cages differs from Your´s.

Hi Chris, very good post!
In Germany many people are using glass cages for chameleons. We use them for:
- F. pardalis
- K. matschiei
- K. multituberculata
I only can agree with your words.
We keep our Kinyongias in a room to the north. In hot summer nights we can reduce the temperature...
At all - THANK YOU for Your recommendations!!!!! :D
Now we are back at home for 2 weeks and work got us back. :(
But we had very nice weeks in the USA and we spent each a day at the Bronx and the National Zoo - it was great!!!! We can not believe, that the National Zoo is free...
Hi Jake,
please post a picture of the animal.
Which Fischers you have?
For example the females of Kinyongia matschiei have horns and they are not so small. The K.multituberculata females have really small horns.
Hi Esther,
can you tell us the prices from the Netherlands?
In Germany you can get a young veiled from 15Euro (20USD; Czech cham farm dealer) up to 70Euro (100USD; pet shop). A Fischer (Kinyongia multituberculata) you can get between 60 and 80Euro (85-110USD) - there is no difference between...
Hey Dustin, thank you. I´m so happy to be again in the USA, because is it my favorite vacation country and the sixth visit. I'm afraid my English is a bit rusty, the last visit was in 2003 or 2004. But chameleonforums.com is a good training. :D
The only depressive point for me is the visit...
Hello,
we start our vacation to USA next Thursday. Do you have a recommendation for a real good zoo in Boston / Washington D.C. / New York??
Especially for chameleons?????
We heard that the Bronx zoo and the national zoo in Washington should be good.....
Greetings, Peter
