    Mites!?

No the only spots I can see on my plant are on the very top leaves of my Schefflera plant I think it’s gettimg burned from the lights a little. I’m at least for now chalking it up as irrelevant. But no webs or anything like that I did go through and search this evening for webs, couldn’t find any.

    Mites!?

So with a closer inspection it seems some are smaller and white and some are brown. Maybe two types of mites? Or different aged mites? Also I’m not really sure that the springtails I’m seeing are actually spring tails I’ve never put any bugs into my soil so do springtails occur naturally?

    Mites!?

So I was cleaning and thought I seen some springtails in the soil of my plants. I took a clump of soil out of the pot and dropped it into my palm. I see a couple springtails but I also notice what I believe are mites. They are brown fast and remind me spiders scurrying around as if they are...

    Help with Cricket Setup

Rainbow mealworms sells buffalo beetles lesser mealworms I put some in my cricket bins and in my roach bins. The ones in the roach bins have multiplied like crazy in just 2 weeks or so. The ones in the cricket bins have not done much at all. I’m guessing the difference is the surplus of dry...

    Help with Cricket Setup

I’m no expert by any means but I’ve just started keeping crickets, I got them from Josh’s frogs. and I’m using bug burger gel form and I find that the crickets still take advantage of the water crystals. Idk if they’re necessary or not but I know they like them. I also give fresh carrots and...

    Silk worm

Thanks for the advice! Is the no lid thing to keep the humidity down? How often do you replace your mulberry leaves?

    Silk worm

They were in a large tall deli cup, it had a lid with holes in it. (Like hornworms come in.) There is some sort of plastic grid in it for them to crawl on and just mulberry leaves. I would take the lid off most days for a couple hours at a time to let any moisture evaporate. I opened the lid...

    Silk worm

I don’t think I can offer much advice I’m pretty lousy at keeping them alive. I think they probably needed a bigger container in my case. It took 3.5 weeks for this one bought as “small”

    Silk worm

I bought them awhile ago but my Cham won’t eat them. Well I forgot about them and they ran out of food most died but I cleaned them out and put the couple still live ones in there with some fresh mullberry leaves and two did well after that. Yesterday I came home and one was suddenly dead. It...
