Hello
So my panther chameleon has recently stopped eating. It has been 3 days now that he has not eaten the crickets that we have offered him. During the past month or so he has had a reduced intake of food, but we just assumed this was because he was just maturing into eating every other...
I know this was posted a while ago... but the same thing happened to my cham and searching for answers I found this. We also just fed him horn worms in which he hasn't ate in a while, so it must be that!! Incase anyone ever is looking and needs some more confirmation on what it is. Did...
We already treated him with what the vet gave us. Which was surgical soap to cleanse the area, then apply antibiotic cream and give him oral drops of antibiotics. It hasn't shown to make a difference yet... taking him back to the vet would be ideal, but the money situation has us in a bind, in...
Thanks! Sorry for the late response... but it was about us waking up later than the sun came up. Late night jobs have us waking up later than most. But thank you very much for the info! Very useful
So I have posted before about our Panther Chamaleon's mouth problems... Here is the link to the original post and the responses.

Update

Hey! We just got a timer for our lights, and was wondering what was more important... having our juvenile panther chameleon's light go on with the sun rise, or having him eat shortly after he wakes? We know it is important to have both.... but our schedules conflict with making these both...

We put polysporin on it and will try to keep applying. Here is an updated...
Mouth and Cage Details
Thanks for all the responses... Glad to hear it doesn't seem to be as severe. By deformed I mean that one side of his bottom lip (close to the dark spot) is sticking out a little. It seems that the front of his mouth is indented a bit.
He is currently living in a 18" x...

As you can see it's just at the tip of his mouth
So we have a male panther chameleon aged 12 weeks. We have only had him for a week and we're new to owning a chameleon.
He has black spots (with a little white?) on his mouth that have developed over the past couple days. It doesn't seem to be spreading drastically and they are fairly small...
