Any good reptile stores in Atlanta?

Ok, here's the key word...."good". Depends on your definition of such. We have some decent small operations going, like Exotic Pet in Norcross (who we actually supply with feeders regularly) but they're getting just off the ground. I believe they have a store in East Atlanta as well. Most of...

    Jah's eye is closed :-(

Thank you guys for helping out with this. The Repashy Calcium plus is a good idea, I just got a shipment of Repashy in so it would be a good time to try it out. I usually don't use dusting supplements because I gutload and vary up my reptile's diets (kinda the advantage to running a feeder...

    Jah's eye is closed :-(

Hey everyone, I've been meaning to post some pics of this, as I've been working with Jah, my male Ambilobe, trying to get his eye clear of whatever is causing him to keep it closed during the day. He's still very active, and not showing lethargic behavior or anything. I ran his eye under...

    Plant growth CFL's bulbs

I thought CFL's were dangerous to reptiles? I've heard of some strange disease arising from their use? Does anyone remember this?

    Unique feeders. Any Advice?

Do like I do and when you go on a hike, away from the hustle and bustle of society, take a bunch of 16 oz plastic cups and various lids (solid, poly fiber, and aluminum mesh) and a backpack with you, and bag up anything that interests you along the way. Come home, get on the internet, and see...

    Hhmmmmm...no crickets

Keep waiting, I gave up on mine, and when I went to throw away the incubation media about a week after giving up, there were THOUSANDS, and I had the lid on for about 10-20 days. They'll hatch, trust me ;-)

    Ideas/pictures for feeding Super Worms.

I mounted a 24 ounce or 32 ounce plastic cup in all of my cham enclosures fastened to the cage mesh with a simple zip tie run through a couple holes made in the cup, and of course the mesh. Very simple, and superworms very rarely escape. They can if you let the sides get too dirty or dusty.

What Repashy superfoods do you use?

Hello my friends, I'm looking to give Repashy a try, and wanted to see what the most popular mixes were. I have a Panther cham, Veiled cham, and 2 Senegals, along with beardies, a crested gecko, and dartfrogs. Any suggestions?

    where to buy sterile roaches

Mules are hybrids??? lol And do madagascars not breed or something? I'm confused by the comparison. I find hissers to be absolutely not worth keeping unless you're fascinated by a roach that blows air at you when you piss it off lol They climb over even the best of open air containment...

    where to buy sterile roaches

In the context that it was used, I think the vet meant infertile or impotent, something of that nature, but sterile works. Ahhh, isn't the English language great? Only one word but with so many meanings.

    where to buy sterile roaches

Can't find any Sterile roaches because they won't breed for anyone to grow them lol

    where to buy sterile roaches

You have little to ZERO chance of Dubia, Discoids, or Fusca infesting your home in Missouri lol. As you said, tropical roaches, and you are anywhere but in the tropics.

    silkworms

If it were only that easy. Breeding silkworms is a bit more trouble than it's worth, especially when egg prices are so low. You'll find keeping a healthy stock with silkworms can be a difficult enough task in itself without having to worry about breeding, not to mention keeping the proper...

    My Bug factory

Not bad. Your place looks a little like mine, just take that shelving unit and multiply it by 3 + 2 12' long shelves and you're close lol Gotta love bug farming man, it's very rewarding. Keep up the good work, and let me know if you want to get rid of some of those extras :-)
