    hmm well I am on a forum pygmyhogsuk.com which has loads of good info plus experienced keepers/owners. I believe there is a US based forum called Hedgehog Central as well. There are loads of different housings, vivs, zoozones and c&c cages. Mine are all in vivs :)

    I house them in wooden vivs but with much more ventilation. They are all single except Peggy + Pearl who live together

    the ball pits are good cos if they poop you can just wipe them clean :)

    the tenrec does , but the hogs will fit on your hand with it flat - from wrist to fingertip :)

    well the wild hedgehogs we have here are double the size of the African ones I have a pets. I would say they average about 6in in length - the tenrec is prob only 4in but hes a tenrec lol

    yup all of mine come from good breeders :) except Pearl who was rescued from a pet store and sent through the post!! and Peggy whos owner did not want her anymore and Diego who was housed with a female meaning they had back to back litters and killed them. They were fed on grapes + raisins...

    all of mine are litter trained - they either poop on the wheel or in their litter tray. I wash the wheel with oilatum which makes the poop etc not stick and it goes in the tray (the wheel stands in the litter tray) so I only need to clean the litter tray everyday and all the cages get a full...

    well - she belonged to a friend of a friend's girlfriend who bred her (she had others too) from either brother to sister or mother to son. She did not look after them well. When they broke up she dumped all her chammies on her bf who gave them to my friend as he had no knowledge of their care...

    picked up this young lady on saturday... she is a 1.5 year old veiled but is only the length of my thumb :( apparently due to a breakup and the missus dumped her chammies on her boyfriend who had no idea on their care. It is believed she may be from a brother / sister or other related pairing...
