The best is the Arcadia T5 systems. To for the 6% with daylight tube combo from Todd at light your reptiles. You will not get better. I do not bother with T8 5.0 tubes now as I do not feel they give out enough uv to replicate a chameleons natural uv level they would receive in the wild. I always...
He looks great! If he likes the higher temps the. Stick with it. I would put him in the bigger cage. He looks big enough and just make sure he is eating. Grown a lot since the last picture I saw of him!
So which one has the problem? The panther needs a lot more supplements. She needs pure calcium daily, calcium with D3 twice a month and a multivitamin twice a months. She could have a calcium deficiency and be gravid. I would get her to a vet as soon as you can.
I thought this was about a female panther?
Well the jacksons needs to be in a screen cage really. I am in the uk too and use all screen cages for my chameleons
Supplements are also too much. Calcium three times a week, calcium with D3 once a month and a multivitamin with no D3 once a month...

To for an xl reptibreeze screw cage. They are the best thing for them and they do well in them. I use them and I am in the Uk and would not use wooden or glass again.
Cage size for a male veiled should be 2x2x4. Glass tanks are not great for drainage or ventilation really.
Hav you actually had the chameleon tested for parasites? If you haven't I would not give any medication without prior testing as it just messes with gut flora for nothing.
I am not sure about the skin but there are a few things you need to add or change.
You need pure calcium for every feed, calcium with D3 for twice a month and a multivitamin without D3 for twice a month too.
As said with compacts I personally wouldn't use them. They have been known to...
Most people follow the three powder routine through the chameleons whole life. It fits most situations especially for panthers and veileds.
Pure calcium each feed
Calcium with D3 twice a month
Multivitamin without D3 twice a month.
I just have a vine that touches the floor so the crickets can crawl up into the top of the cage.
With using a dripper i was having a big build up of excess water.
I always recommend getting a timer meaning no matter what both the UV and heat bulb goes on and off at exactly the same time every day. Chameleons are very much creatures of habit and like to stick to a routine. Makes life easier too.
I use the cages for my babies before they are big enough to move into their adult cage.
I always remove the background though as all the crickets do is hide behind it and sometimes eat the polystyrene which will not be great for the chameleon.
Also adds a little bit more space without it...
You should be fine using the new light bulb in that fitting. All my heating and lighting is plugged into one timer so it all goes on and off at the same times each day.
