Yes, that is the one thing I did was take it to the lathe and cut it down. Once it is installed there is hardly no lip at all. No puddling up, water runs right out of cage.

I am not sure about this...Maybe you just need to find a Vet that specializes in exotics?????? Mine does.:D

18x18x36 is almost too small for that age. I have one, and my 3 1/2 month old Veiled(male)is almost ready for a change. He could almost go into my 24x24x48 cage, but I will wait another month or so.

I do think that you are doing everything that Vince tells you to do.......But maybe next time you sould go to a specialist. Nothing against Vince, but he is a Breeder not a Vet. If your car did not run would you take it to a mechanic, or an autobody man?????????? GoodLuck
