    Panther Cage Size?

That would be a great idea but I need to have something that fits in with the rest of the furniture in our living room.

    Panther Cage Size?

I'm getting the cage built by someone who makes reptile enclosures and he's using his waterproofing stuff. I forgot exactly what.

Feeder Cups - Lets see them..

Here's is my DIY. I bought a plastic soap holder thing and just used the very bottom piece and used silicone to attach the stick. Then I got a magnet set to put it up anywhere on the screen sides of my cage.

    Panther Cage Size?

Thanks. I cup feed now so I was planning on continuing that, but the new cage will give me the option to free range in the future when he grows though. As for the basking spots, I plan on keeping it similar distance from the top as my current set up.

    Panther Cage Size?

I converted a display case for my current cage. It's 65" tall, 18" wide, and 15" deep. I had to learn this the hard way but parts of it are made of particle board and are starting to warp and split. I thought I had at least 6 months, but after less than 2 months all the sealing and siliconing I...

    repashy help

Constructive criticism wanted...am I doing this right?

I've read that sometimes if the bowl is clear they have a harder time, i didn't experience this issue tho. My bowl now is a white translucent plastic, so even if he's below he can see the shadows of the bugs moving. As for the tilandsia, i have a few of those in mine and i've read on here that...

    Intruders: bugs and mold

Thanks for the clarification. I would prefer to keep that piece up, but have replacements on deck. I will keep and eye on things. As for the misting. I agree. I was speaking to someone at my local reptile shop prior to getting my cham and she even told me that people freak out about the...

Constructive criticism wanted...am I doing this right?

speaking from personal experience, i ran a similar misting schedule with my Mistking and i had to change it because mold started forming after less than two weeks! I just changed it a couple days ago to 3 sessions to see how this works out. I basically got rid of the middle short sessions. I've...

    Intruders: bugs and mold

@xrowdac @OldChamKeeper i'll just get rid of that grape wood... I guess grapewood are notoriously problematic anyways so I'll find something else. I also have a piece of manzanita and ghost wood in the cage. As for other plants I have a ficus and an umbrella plant in there. Do I have the get rid...

    Intruders: bugs and mold

He seems good. i looked up what those Aphids are and saw they're plant pests, but are you implying that they could be bad for my cham?

    Intruders: bugs and mold

If I were to get rid of that wood, does that mean I have to get rid of EVERYTHING??? Wouldn't everything be contaminated? As for the pics, here are the best I could snap. Hope it helps. EDIT: the bugs are in IMG_1461... you have to zoom in tho. :/

    Intruders: bugs and mold

so i went crazy and basically watered too much so that i didn't have dry time in between mists during the day for about a week to two weeks. I noticed mold starting to grow on the big piece of grape wood and as i was doing some cleaning to get rid of the mold tonight, i also found bugs crawling...

    Poop

Hi @CharlieCharmingo! I was searching the forums because I was picking up poop in my cage today and noticed that the freshest poop i grabbed had a slight orange color urates. It's pretty much identical to yours. There was no solid spots that were yellow or orange like i've seen in others' posts...

    Gel in feeder bowl

Yah that's exactly what it looked like. Figured that's what it was. So what would happen if that stuff was accidentally ingested by my cham? Can he digest or pass it?

    Gel in feeder bowl

OK. That's a relief. Thanks for info!

    Gel in feeder bowl

So is this something I need to worry about? My Panther is 5 months old. Do I need to be worried about dried up gel on feeders and possibly expanding in the stomach of my cham?
