Do Chameleons really need absolute darkness to sleep?

My cage catches some light from the tv and also the kitchen light at times. I'm always worried about the light affecting his sleep.... But every time I check on him, he's still sleeping.

Help, having trouble cleaning my chameleon cage :(

My Cham is relatively scared of me too, and consequently spends a lot of time in the thick cover of his hanging pothos. If those of you that are having trouble getting your chams out of their enclosures don't have a hanging plant currently, then you could try getting one. My Cham feels safe when...

    Crack, can't find it?

No it was 12 total, product including shipping costs. And yes, IMO that is an extremely reasonable price. Like color Cham said... The ingredients are listed on the package.... Ingredients that you will not find in commercially availible cricket foods. If you REALLY want to make your own, that's...

    Crack, can't find it?

A pound is like 7-8 bucks. I think I paid 12 dollars to have it shipped to WA.... Like I said, dirt cheap. Especially when you consider that it lasts 6 months.

    Crack, can't find it?

    Any forum members breed/sell meller's?

Thanks for the site! I will check with chamNW, as well as other breeders when I'm ready to buy... But I've noticed the CB babies are relatively exspensive( worth it tho) I was assuming the price will become more reasonable as more become available(hopefully!!). Any idea what you will be selling...

    Any forum members breed/sell meller's?

I have decided that I want to own a melleri, as my next cham. Just wanted to know if any of the members are currently breeding or are considering it in the future? I'm not in the market for one currently anyway, but I'm just curious about the availibility. I have no interest in the WC ones...
