u can try not offering anything for a few days and see if that works or try a new feeder

i have a veiled that also goes on hunger strikes..hell refuse to eat from his cup..if i offer a worm hell gobble it up. i have found that if i free roam just a couple of crickets at a time hell chase them down and get them. my conclusion was he was getting bored with his cup and enjoyed...

most of us have a bare bottom but you could use parer towles if youd like but it needs replacing often...my cages dont have a solid bottom they have screen drainage for the water to go through

i see the pics now....get rid of the substrate it can cause impaction which can lead to death...he is a he...get a 5.0 repisun for uvb and a 30 watt-40 watt for basking

one more question what wqas he digging in ...is there substrate in the bottom of his terrarrium?

you can use a ceramic heater that will produce heat but not light, that would keep him warm at night but still dark so he could sleep:)

hey zac sorry i havent seen your post or pms till now ive been busy i am so sorry you lost him. your set up looked good . temps might have been a little high but i dont think that did him in. were you only feeding ff? i found with my hatchlings that they werent interestes in ff after a few...

yup great cleaners i ordered my culture a little over a year ago used it in 2 set ups and i still have them inthere today

temps are great as stated but i would add a lot more foliage and lots of sticks that they can get around on that may make him more comfortable:)

at 5-6 months i could just start to see patterns on my veiled but by 9-10 months he was full color and beautiful!!!

i dont think it matters as long as they have proper basking temps through the day the food would just continue to be digested the next day hope that helps
