so, my brand new bulb just burned out, i couldnt find any in my town, so i bought it online... it just burned out today... will repti glo work until i get a repti sun and whats the difference?
i usually put about 4 crickets in there at a time. the crickets do seem to disappear, but ive never once seen him eat... there was a small gap in the cage and some crickets were getting out so i closed it up. i dont see any crickets crawling on the carpet any more but i also dont see him eating...

about the compress... it was something a different vet from the same place was going to ask his actual vet for me about... she actually was the one who brought it up... then the person never ended up calling back and my vet has been out of the office for a few days. just curious if anyone else...
so the other day, my veiled was shedding on his shoulder a little... when the skin fell off, there was a blackish spot on him. it is shiny and i cant figure out why... i mist him regularly and he has a dripper and i give him humid showers sometimes... the spot is about 1/4" x 1/4" and its pretty...
my dad used to have 2 iguannas... he asked my mom to put their cage infront of the window for an hour... she forgot, they were there the whole day and the window magnified the sunlight and fried both of them... maybe it was a once in a life time mishap... but it happened... id personally be too...
maybe he hasnt gotten the concept of basking area? (im new to chams so i dont know if this happens)... but maybe he is just learning where the warm place is located...maybe he is cold when hes not by the basking area.... just a thought... i dunno... can anyone else chime in?
would it be okay to put a warm compress on his eye like maybe a paper towel since they are soft? im hoping to help his eye drain... on the ride to the vet he was rubbing his eye on the car window to help get the fluid out, which was helping... so i know it can come out, but im wondering if a...
