...views as food. He will learn at a young age the others are food too. Just load up the feeder run with them all. I would stick to 1/4 inch dubia. Silk worms are another good one and with you having two that are different ages you can order them in small as some get larger faster those can be...

    Dubia Introduction

I’m convinced there is a strong correlation between reptiles getting parasites and feeding off crickets from stores that also sell other reptiles. I don’t think anyone could change my mind on this. Crickets are great, but I’d go with a place that specializes in crickets/feeders.

    is my cham doing ok?

...In time, she’ll have you well trained and accepting of her sass. ;) The only other thing I have to say atm, is to offer a wider variety of feeders. Wax worms are great little fatty treats and crickets are a good staple. Try adding some roaches (dubia or discoid), silkworms, bsfl or grasshoppers.

...scoop out and pitch the whitesh center/seeds area of the bell pepper. Technically you are fine feeding either to "non worms" because crickets/dubia etc cant concentrate the toxin as a defense mechanism. That being said, i have never had roaches eat a tomato nor pepper. Ive offered them...

    Please Help!

...now be gutloading with solely sweet potatoes and carrots. Yea i think you just need to lower the protein content of the gut load. Discoids/dubia store excess protein as uric acid just like we store excess fat as fatty acid. Personally i just treat the roach bin as a compost heap and all...

...powder) cure alot of "we are not sure" issues. Yes i wouldnt do this if the lizard had known bone issues, but most lizards are over supplemented vs under. This can be due to just the surface area of the feeders. 2-3 queen dubia have a lot less surface area to powder vs 3 dozen medium crickets.

Poor Rango was confused as to why I was poking the tongs at him… a roach had somehow escaped his bowl as I was feeding him and decided to crawl onto his face 😂 right in his blind spot, too!

    Dubia Introduction

I have no experience with dubia (they’re illegal in Florida) but I do know discoids are very similar and have heard that they are more active than dubia. I think for some chameleons, roaches are an acquired taste. Most will mix a roach in with the regular feeders and go from there. Size of the...
